Tita’s Hale is a Hawaiian creative house telling our stories through clothing, based in Koʻolaupoko, Oʻahu.
The work is rooted in Hawaiʻi and shaped by all the places and people that have made me who I am. It draws from family and tradition, country life and city life, Hawaiʻi and Southern California. My hope is that it reaches Hawaiians in the many places they have come to call home.
I like bringing familiar things together in unexpected ways: aloha wear and streetwear, nostalgia and newness, femininity and utility, working and … werking. The goal is to make clothing that feels unmistakably Hawaiian while expanding how and where that can be expressed.
Tita’s Hale is an ongoing exploration of what it means to be Hawaiian while walking between worlds—and where that will take us next.
